Thomas Hubert Davis

Thomas Hubert Davis, 72,  of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Shawneetown, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, 6:10 p.m. in Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.  He was born on November 21, 1941 in Shawneetown, the son of Raymond Davis and Elizabeth Hazel (Dodge) Clayton.  His father died in 1948 and he was raised by Harry Fred Clayton.  He served our country during Vietnam War in the Air Force and worked as a deck hand for Clayton Harbor Service.   Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Lynn and husband Jerry King of Sturgis, Ky.; two sons, Thomas H. Jr. and wife Becky Davis of Morganfield, Ky., and  Jason Davis; one niece, Melissa and husband Jim Charleton of Shawneetown; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather; and his sister, Hazel Rae Zirkelbach.   Private family memorial service will be held at a later date and those who wish to attend contact Melissa Charleton or Tiffany King on Facebook.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Vickery Funeral Chapel.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.
