Shirley Earlene (Osborne) Followell

Shirley Earlene Followell, 78, of Eldorado, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Eldorado.  She was born on January 10, 1939 in Cave-In-Rock, Ill., the daughter of the late Raymond and Nellie (Brooks) Osborne.  Shirley married Donald a Followell in 1959, he preceded her in death on the 7th of February in 1989.  She is survived by one son, Charles Noah and Tara Followell of Eldorado; two daughters, Debby Johnsey of Rosiclare; Nancy and Mark Mosby of Cave-In-Rock; three sisters, Anita And Orville Vann of Shawneetown, Mary Durham of Ridgway, Barb Brown of Marion; one sister-in-law,. Linda Turner of Eldorado; eleven grandchildren, Ben Johnsey, Darian Jackson, Sam Mosby, Karl Daughenbaugh, Zack Mosby, Kody Mosby, Haley Mosby, Jonathan Charles Noah Followell, Emily Renee Followell, Dakota Johnson, and Cameron Johnson; six great grandchildren, Logan, Reece, Dawsyn, Dayleigh, Ross, and Maxwell.  Also she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Donna Followell; three brothers, Ed, Arlin, and Gene Osborne.  There will be a private family service for Shirley.  The Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality is in charge of arrangements.
