Rodger Dean Swaggirt

Mr. Rodger Dean Swaggirt, 66, of Salem, Kentucky and  Equality, Illinois, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Deaconess Midway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  Mr. Swaggirt was a window washer in Chicago, as well as worked on a towboat.  He was of Baptist faith.  He is survived by one son, Matthew and Stephanie Swaggirt of Salem, Kentucky; one daughter, Honney Swaggirt of Equality; one brother, Steve Swaggirt of Eldorado; eight grandchildren, Tristin Collins, Tyler Swaggirt, Trey Swaggirt, Kendra Certain, Britney Certain, Ivan Swaggirt, Charlie Lane, and Isabelle Ball; four great grandchildren, Natalie Walker, Nolen Turner, Novah Seets, and Zander Certain; and two special friends, Frank Sisk and Zelda Swaggirt.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cathy Swaggirt; second wife, Mary Yvonne Swaggirt; and his parents, Charlie and Mary Alice (Collum) Swaggirt.  A celebration of life service will occur at a later date.  During this most difficult time, especially when services must be private, you may show your love and support by lighting a candle or sharing a memory online at www.boydfuneraldirectors.com.    Services entrusted to Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
