Richard Joseph Grace

Richard Joseph Grace, 66, of Shawneetown, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016, 2:24 a.m., at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.  He was born on April 26, 1950 in Eldorado, the son of the late Clyde Alvin and Ruby Mae (Awalt) Grace.  He is survived by his sisters, Sue Thomas of Taylorville and Amy Ellis of Shawneetown; several nieces and nephews.  Also he is preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.  Richard attended the Eldorado Church of God.  Visitation for Richard will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  The Rev. Jarrod Barton will be officiating the service with burial at the Callicott Cemetery near Ridgway.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Callicott Cemetery.
