Peggy Diane (Frohock) Buckman

Peggy Diane Buckman, 68, of Equality, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  She was born on April 5, 1949 in Eldorado, the youngest child of the late James Larue and Mary Inez (Colbert) Frohock.  Peggy married Jerry Buckman on June 5, 1971.  Survived by her husband Jerry Buckman of Equality; four children, Jeremy Buckman of Cave-In-Rock, Shawna Golden of Equality, Beth Moore and friend Michael Wilkerson of Equality and Daniel Buckman of Johnston City; nine grandchildren, Zach, Kyle, Matthew, Avery, Hannah, Megan, Abbie, Timothy, and Izabella; and special Adaline the miniature schnauzer.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Donna Sue Gwaltney; one brother, Aubrey Eugene “Gene” Frohock.  Visitation for Peggy will be held on Saturday, January 6th from 12 Noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  The Rev. Steve Hunt will be officiating the service.  Burial will be at Loyd Cemetery in rural Equality.
