Michael David Pindell, age 63 of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Michael was born on December 22, 1962, in Gary Indiana to the late Sidney M. Pindell (Curly) and Tressie E. (Crider) Pindell. He grew up in Shawneetown, IL where he met the love of his life Tammy J. (Angelly) Pindell. He leaves behind 3 beautiful children; Jessica (Pindell) Miller, Sidney M. Pindell, and Scott DeFever.

Michael leaves behind 4 loved grandchildren; Kayden Miller, Zailyn Miller, Kaitlyn Pindell, and Harlyn Pindell 1 brother; Dennis Pindell, 3 sisters; Cathy (Hotrod) Back, LuWanna (Carl) LaCrosse and Geana (Tom Wayne) Pinkston; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many cousins; his 4-legged friend Crybaby; he also leaves behind many friends and acquaintances.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney M. Pindell (Curly) and Tressie E. (Crider) Pindell; and a niece Tara J. Pindell. 

Visitation for Michael will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown, IL, with funeral services following after. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery with military rights.

Michael was a proud veteran of war. He served in Desert Storm along with the 8th Infantry U.S, Army. "You're gone too soon but never forgotten."
