Mary Alice Swaggirt

Mary Alice Swaggirt, 76, of Salem, Ky. formerly of Harrisburg, Ill., went home to meet her Lord on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. She left behind many who loved her and will miss her dearly. The daughter of George and Faye (Cosseboone) Cullum, she was born Mary Alice Cullum on March 25, 1934in Harrisburg, Ill. She married Charlie Benton Swaggirt and to this union three sons were born; Steven Ray, Rodger Dean, and Robert Darrell Swaggirt. Surviving are her sons, Steven Ray Swaggirt of Salem, Ky., Rodger Dean Swaggirt and his wife Yvonne of Salem, Ky. Also, four grandchildren, Matthew Swaggirt of Raleigh, Ill., Honney Swaggirt of Eldorado, Ill., Wesley and Amanda Swaggirt of Equality, Ill. She also had eight great grandchildren; Ashley Crist of Equality, Tristen Collins, Tyler and Trey Swaggirt, and Ivan Swaggirt , all of Eldorado, Charlie Lane of Herod, Trenton and Emily Swaggirt of Equality. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Swaggirt; and son, Robert Darrell Swaggirt; two sisters and two brothers. Visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.
