Marilyn Kay (Johnson) Raes

Marilyn Kay Raes, 76, of Carrier Mills, formerly of Andover, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.  She was the daughter of the late John Richard and Katherine Cleone (Schmoll) Johnson.   Marilyn was born on June 27, 1941 in the city of Moline.  She was an CNA at the Hill Crest Nursing Home in Geneseo and also a manager and a bartender at the Orion Tap in Orion.  Marilyn was a church member of the Lutheran Church of Andover. Marilyn is leaves behind her son, Tony and Darlene Raes of Herod; her brother, Louie and Donna Johnson of Orion; two grandchildren, Kyle Raes of Herod; Sean and Jessica Raes of Fredonia, Ky.    She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margie Yates and Tina Lee.  A graveside service for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Ozee Cemetery near Junction with the Reverend Stan Pennell officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Carrier Mills Nursing Home and Rehab Activity Fund or to the Celtic Hospice of Marion.
