Marilyn Jean Pindell, 82, of Millington, Tenn., formerly of Junction, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 2:48 p.m., at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born on February 16, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, Ind., the daughter of James Earl and Zona Marie (McKinnies) Travers. Marilyn married Roy Keith Pindell on July 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2009. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sunbeam Chapter #1 in Mt. Vernon, Ind. Marilyn is survived by two sons, Duane Keith Pindell of Hernando, Miss., Russell Kevin “Rusty” and Donna Pindell of Millington, Tenn.; two sisters, Connie Earlene Barker of Townson, Tenn., Teresa Rendell Hopper of Hernando, Miss.; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Eugene Earl Travers and her daughter, Deborah Lynn Davidson. Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10 a.m. until service time at Noon (12 p.m.) at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Rev. Duke Williams will officiate with burial will be at the Palestine II Cemetery near Omaha.
