Lucille McLain, 91, of Eldorado, formerly of Equality, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013, 10:55 p.m., at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado. She was born on September 26, 1922 in Rosiclare to Elmer and Nellie Maude (Mansell) Hobbs. She married Logan Woods and had two daughters. She later married Frank (Buddy) McLain Jr. of Equality in June 1958. Buddy preceded her in death on December 23, 1996. Lucille was a loving mother and grandmother, house wife and helped her husband farm. She was a member of the Equality United Methodist Church. Lucille is survived by two daughters, Nina Patton and Dewey Johnson of Eldorado, Linda and Harry Spivey of Cave-In-Rock; seven grandchildren, Dennis Davis of Florida, Dale and Renee Patton of Elizabethtown, Glen and Chris Patton of Eldorado, Mark Jenkins of Albuquerque, Brad and Sheila Jenkins of Equality, Curtis and Rhonda Jenkins of Cave-In-Rock, Paula and Jason Partain of Elizabethtown; eleven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Geneva Hooten and Francis Haire, and one granddaughter, Sandra Culp. Visitation for Lucille will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ron Johnson. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
