Linda L. (Berry) Daily

Linda Daily, 68, of Shawneetown, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 16, 2014, 11:20 a.m.  She was born on February 10, 1946 in East Prairie, Mo., the daughter of Wilson Lynn Edward and Helen Ruth (Hooper) Berry.  Linda married John Henry Daily Jr. on October 24, 1968, who survives.  Also she is survived by her daughter, Valerie Potter of Eldorado; two sons, David and wife Rhonda Daily of Bradenton, Fla., John A. Daily of Soldotna, Ak.; two sisters, Sharon Keith of Shawneetown, Carolyn and husband Jim Gentles of Shawneetown; two brothers, Roy G. and wife Marilyn Berry of Equality, Donald Berry of Shawneetown; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Peggy Sue Berry and Janet Sue Frailey; two brothers, Jimmie Lee and Lonnie Steven Berry.  There will be a private family service at a later date.    Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of arrangements and internet condolences may be made at the website, www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com.
