Larry Todd Belt, age 61, passed away August 16th, 2025, after a long battle with multiple chronic illnesses. He is now joined in heaven with his father, Larry Russell Belt, his mother, Sharon Lynn (Speer) Belt, and his sister Pamela Lynn (Belt) Thorsen. Todd was loved by his entire family, coworkers, and friends.
He was born on March 25, 1964, in Evansville, Indiana. At an early age, he largely enjoyed automotive mechanics, fishing, and playing pool. He graduated from Portage Northern High School and then took some classes at Western Michigan University. His financial literacy and natural entrepreneurial spirit provided the ability for him to succeed quickly within his long career at Pepperl + Fuchs. While in his later years he cared greatly for his three daughters, whom he cherished deeply. This love was observed in his acts of providing them a relationship with God, inspiration and motivation for their own career success, and guidance through life hardships, which will be carried on in spirit.
He is survived by his three daughters: Savanah Belt, Shelby Belt, and Sydney Belt; his brother Robert (Jennifer) Belt; nephews and nieces: Christian (Celeste) Belt, Caitlin (Belt) (Levi) Johnson, and Jose Rojas Mata; and great-niece: Scarlett Belt.
