Joye (Ingleton) Mcgrew

August 18, 1937 — August 24, 2016

Joye McGrew, 79. Of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at the Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. She was born on August 18, 1937 in Ridgway, the daughter of Claude and Pearle (Smith) Ingleton. Joye married James D. McGrew on August 16, 1959 at the Ridgway Methodist Church. She worked at the ASCS office and retired from the Tri-County Fertilizer in Ridgway. Also, she was a member of the DAR and worked with genealogy and cemetery research. Survived by her husband, Jim McGrew of Ridgway; two daughters, Melody "Bo" and Tim Drone of Ridgway, Crystal and John Keasler of Junction; two sisters, Virginia Lee Zirkelbach of Ridgway, Shirley Jeanette Kingston of Alton; three grandchildren, Chantay and Joe DeHaven of Carrollton, Ga., Sheena and Patrick Harrell of Loveland, Ohio, Calista Drone and Zachery Mathis of Martin Tenn. Joye was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phyllis Ingleton. Visitation for Joye will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Funeral service will be the following day at the funeral home on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Duke Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Jackson Cemetery near Ridgway. Memorials for Joye may be made to the Jackson Cemetery.
