John W. Wallace

John W. Wallace, 79, of Ridgway passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, 8:50 a.m. at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  He was born on September 8, 1936 in Equality, the son of the late Leonard Monroe Wallace and Mary Edith (Harrelson) Allison.  John was married to the Beatrice V. Cox who preceded him in death on March 29, 1995.  He was a carpenter by trade and a Army veteran of the Korean War.  Survived by his son Charlie and wife Jenilee Wallace of Morganfield, Ky and his granddaughter, Sydney Wallace.  Visitation for John will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  Burial will be at the Cottage Grove Cemetery near Eldorado with military rites.
