Janice Marie (Pate) Haney

Janice Marie Haney, 53, of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016, 6:35 p.m. at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.  She was born on April 23, 1962 in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Gibbs) Pate.  She was a member of the Herod Springs Baptist Church.  Janice is survived by daughter, Crystal and Jared Schaefer of Evansville, Ind.; son, Gary Allen and Nacole Haney of Harrisburg; son, Charles Haney of Crossville; Stephanie Haney of Warrington, Ga.; son, Justin Haney of Harrisburg.  Also survived by three brothers, Steve and Mary Pate of Ocean Springs, Miss., Curtis Pate of Harrisburg, Frankie Pate of Henderson, Ky.; seven grandchildren.  Visitation for Janice will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  The Rev. Barry Bascom will be officiating the service.  Memorials may be made to the family.
