Gusta Irene Barnett

Gusta Irene Barnett, 87, of 291 W. Clinton St. Equality, IL. Passed away on Friday, Ausust 25, 2006, 2:15 a.m. at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado, IL. Gusta was born on July 28, 1919, in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois to William and Sarah(Porter) Leonberger. She was a homemaker. She is survived by son, Harlin David and Jean Barnett of Murphysboro, Illinois. And two sisters, Virgie Barnett of Junction and Leta Maynard of Shawneetown. Five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Gusta was preceded in death by parents; son, Donald Ray Barnett; sister, Lena Nelson; 4 brothers, George, Warren, and James Epps, and William Leonberger. Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Reverend James R. Hubbard officiating with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations maybe made to Leamington Community Church.
