Gregory Krikie

Gregory Philip "Greg" Krikie, 61, of Junction, Illinois, passed away after a gallant fight against cancer at his home on Friday, June 27th , 2025. He was born in Eldorado on August 22nd , 1963 to the late James Krikie and Virginia Rose (Frier) Case. Greg was also raised by his step father, Carl J. "Butch" Case who also preceded Greg in death. He was a vital member of Gallatin County Community he served this county for over thirty years as owner and operator of Krikie Plumbing and as Superintendent of the Shawneetown Water Department. Greg was always busy helping others, his community, his customers, family and friends. On July 19th of 2013 Greg married his beloved, Erin (Kielhorn) Krikie who survives. Along with his wife, Erin Krikie of Junction he is also survived by his son, Dylan and Danielle Krikie of Norris City, his daughter, Jayden Krikie of Junction; two brothers, Richard "Richie" and Cheryl Case of Shawneetown, James Krikie of Herald; one grandson, Knox Krikie of Norris City; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial visitation for Greg on Wednesday, July 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.
