Glenda Faye (Willingham) Boggs

Glenda Faye Boggs, 63, of Equality, passed away at her home on Monday, July 24, 2017, 3:30 p.m. with family by her side.  She was born on March 18, 1954 in Asheville, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Floyd and Doris (Wingfield) Willingham.  Glenda married Douglas Earl Boggs Sr. on April 13, 1973.  Douglas preceded her in death on March 6, 2015.  She is survived by her son, Douglas E. Jr. and Rosemary Boggs of Equality; her sister, Joy and Larry Moore of Woodfin, North Carolina; three grandsons, Dylan, Hunter, and Austin Boggs; several nieces and nephews.  Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Mike, Paul, and  Floyd Jr. Willingham.  Visitation for Glenda will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  Brother Bob Williams will officiate with burial at the Wildcat Hill Family Cemetery near Equality.
