Freeman Fb Dempsey

Freeman “F.B.” Dempsey, 88, of Equality, Ill., passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 9:10 a.m. He was born in Harrisburg on March 16, 1928, the son of Freeman and Beulah (Sadler) Dempsey.  In 1947 F.B. married the late Anna E. “Ann” Barlow who preceded him in death on August 5, 2005.  He was an Air Force veteran and also owned and operated his own Television repair shop in Equality.  F.B. is survived by his two daughters, Connie and Eric Johnson of Ridgway, Annette Gulledge of Equality; three grandchildren, Ronnie and Christy Gulledge of Equality, Lisa and Jeff Barker of Junction, Lief and Brittany Johnson of Equality; six great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his sister, Laverne Dempsey.  There will be a private family graveside service at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality in charge of arrangements.
