It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Frank Sisk. Frank was born on November 28, 1955, in East St. Louis to William and Maybelle Sisk. He was married to the Love of his life for 45 years Denise (Penrod) Sisk. He also leaves behind daughters Angi (Jim) Hise of Equality, Melanie Sisk of Equality, Melissa (Kent) Williams of Carmi and a son, Nick Sisk of Equality. One brother, David (Veronica) Sisk of Corpus Christi, TX. Grandchildren. Kaitlyn (Christian) Dalton, Jade (Daven) Melvin, Brayden Ferrell, Blake & Burke Stricklin, Adaline Parker, Cade Hopson, Mia Sisk, Quaid, Kyla & Cameron Williams. Several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, and nephews. Special friends Bill Harrelson, Bob Ego, Buddy Sisk, and Richard Rumsey. And his beloved mule, Sabrina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John Sisk and Bob Sisk, sister Lois Elder, daughter in law Jayla Sisk and an infant brother.
Frank lived his entire life taking care of his family and loving them with his whole heart. He was a generous man, giving back to the community and anyone in need. He took great pride in his hometown of Equality, where he served as Mayor from 2008-2025 and owned the Red Onion for many years. As the owner and operator of Precision Mine Repair from 1995-2017, he contributed greatly to the mining industry. He also owned and operated the Accelaquarter Raceway for several years, which fed his love of fast cars.
Services will be held at New Life Christian Center in Equality. Visitation will be Monday August 18, 2025, from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025, at 1pm. Friends may visit from 12pm until time of service. Burial to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery near Equality.
