Ezra Wayne Hall

Ezra Wayne Hall, 86, of Harrisburg formerly of Shawneetown, passed away at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg on Saturday, November 30, 2013, 12:45 a.m.  He was born on June 26, 1927 in New Haven, Ill., the son of Ezra and Mary Jane (Cozart) Hall.  Wayne was married for sixty-six years to Donna Faye Woody. They married  on June 11, 1947 in Sturgis, Ky.  He worked as a glass factory worker in Streator, Ill.  Survived by his loving wife, Donna of Harrisburg; five children, John Wayne and Charol M. Hall of Streator, Shirley Ann Monarrez of Streator, Donald Gene and Kris Hall of Joliet, James Alfred and Marcy Hall of Harrisburg, Charles Allen and Debbie Hall of Galatia; two brothers, Roy Gene and Brenda Hall of Shawneetown, Jim and Daisy Hall of Shawneetown; three sisters, Bernice Yackle of Cottage Grove, Tenn., Mary McCollum of Shawneetown, Flora and Ed Rider of Shawneetown; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.  Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Miguel Vazquez; one great grandson, Sklor Hall; three sisters, Dorothy, Margie and Mabel Hall; one brother, Ivan J. Hall.  Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown with Rev. Mike Rushing officiating.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown in charge of arrangements.  Internet condolences may be made at the website, www.vickeryfuneralchapel.com.
