Donna Louise (Dempsey) Williams

Donna L. Williams, 77, of Shawneetown, passed away at her home on Monday, April 22, 2013, 7:50 p.m. She was born on April 26, 1935 in Bowlesville, the daughter of Roy and Pearl (Hughes) Dempsey. Donna married Carroll Wayne Williams on July 3, 1951. Carroll Wayne preceded her in death on April 24, 2005. She is survived by one son, Terry and Cindy Williams of Shawneetown; two daughters, Shari and Bob Vickery of Shawneetown, Tracy and Benny Patton, also of Shawneetown; five grandchildren, Tiffany Williams of Shawneetown, Devon Vickery of Charlotte, N.C., Brittany Patton of Shawneetown, Garrett Williams of Shawneetown, Brandon Patton of Shawneetown; several nieces and nephews; several sister and brother-in-laws also survive. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Norma Mason and Kathleen Chappell. Visitation for Donna will be held on Thursday, April 25 ^th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 26 ^th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
