Donald Boyd Stacy

Donald Boyd Stacy, 85, of Eldorado, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017, 6:55 a.m., at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  He was born on August 23, 1932 in Providence, R.I.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Carlotta Moniz O’Connell and step father William J. O’Connell.   Don was a retired investor.  Donald was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and received a Purple Heart.  He married the former Joyce Fink on the 26th of November, 1976. Don is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Stacy of Eldorado; his sister, Margaret “Peggy” and George Robinson of Anaheim, Cal.; his brother, William J. O’Connell Jr. Of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; five nieces and nephews, Cary Pope, Erin Sallenbach, Donald Stacy, Karen Miller, and George Erickson.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Rolland Boyd Stacy III.  Visitation for Donald will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9 a.m. until funeral  Mass time at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Equality.  Father Steven Beatty will be conducting the funeral Mass.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality in charge of arrangements.  Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality with military rites.
