David Lee Patton

David Lee Patton, 67, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away at his home on Monday, June 11, 2018.  He was born on October 10, 1950 in Shawneetown, the son of the late Clyde Dennis and Anna Lucille (Smith) Patton.  David Lee married the former Margaret Ann Richeson on November 10, 1995 in Morganfield, Ky.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Patton of Shawneetown; one daughter, Joyce Ann Salger of Shawneetown; one son, David A.C. Patton of Shawneetown; three sisters, Mary DeArmon of Benton, Ky., Brenda Patton of Benton, Ky., and Faith Obert of Casper, Wyo.; five brothers, James “Jim Bob” and Sheryl Patton of Equality, Clyde Don and Betty Patton of Rapid City, S.D., James L. and Sharon Patton of Cathrage, Mo., John A. Patton of Evansville, Wyo., and Phillip W. Patton of Casper, Wyo.  David Lee was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Cushard; one brother, John A. Patton  and one niece, Ruthie Patton.  Visitation for David Lee will be held on Thursday, June 14th, from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. a the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  The Rev. Charles Curry will officiate the service with burial at the Hogan Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emmanuel Methodist Church in Shawneetown.
