Danny Feuquay

Danny Feuquay, 77, of Harrisburg, Ill.,  passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.  He was born on September 9, 1940 in Eldorado, the son of the late Oscar and Bonnie (Murphy) Feuquay.  Danny was a retired food supervisor at the Pinckneyville Correctional Prison and also spent time as manager at Denny’s Restaurant and Food Park Grocery Store.  Danny married the former Jennifer Mondy on December 4, 2004.  He was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam Era.  Danny was a member of the Optimist Club of DuQuoin and a lifetime member of the DuQuoin American Legion. He also attended the United Methodist Church in Equality.  Danny is survived by his wife, Jennifer Feuquay of Harrisburg; two daughters, Teresa and Robin Webb of McLeansboro, Tammy and Joel Harris of Texas; two sons, Dale Feuquay of Kabul, Afghanistan, Daniel and Shirlina Feuquay of Texas; one sister, Betty Feuquay of San Antonio, Texas; three step daughters, Rachael and Joel Graves of Harrisburg, Rebecca and Bill King of Harrisburg, Emily and Jason Goemaat of Klamath Falls, Ore.; eight grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and Daisy, his companion dog.  He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Dorothy Kennedy, Mamie Ford, May Hedger, Eva Feuquay; three brothers, Carl, Pete, and Charles Feuquay.  Visitation for Danny will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4 p.m.  to memorial service time at 6 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.  The Reverend Thad Galloway will be conducting the Service.  Internment in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Eldorado.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Equality United Methodist Church.
