Daniel Arthur Duff

Daniel Arthur Duff, 72, of Harrisburg, formerly of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 , 2:46 a.m., at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill. He was born December 21, 1936 in Shawneetown to Ray O. and Mary E. (Rider) Duff. Dan was formerly a electronics radar technician at McDonald Douglas Corp. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by cousin, Catherine Crunk of Shawneetown and several nieces. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Willard R. "Bill" Duff. Graveside service for Daniel will be held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Shawneetown with Pastoral Associate, Jean Wills officiating.
