Damon Acie Gwaltney

Damon Acie Gwaltney, 44, of Marion, passed away at his home on Friday, October 17, 2014, 2 p.m.  He was born on June 16, 1970 in Eldorado, the son of Acie Eugene and Donna Sue (Frohock) Gwaltney.  Damon is survived by his parents, Acie and Sue Gwaltney of Marion; one brother, Douglas and Billie Kaye Gwaltney of Marion; two nieces, Erica and Samatha Gwaltney, both of New York; two nephews, Jacob Gwaltney of Marion, Josh Gwaltney who resides in Florida.  He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Steve and Acie Gene Gwaltney.  There will be a graveside service for Damon on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Loyd Cemetery on Kedron Road south Equality.  The Rev. Matt Crain will be officiating.  Those attending should go directly to the cemetery.  Donations in Damon’s memory may be made to the Loyd Cemetery.  Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality in charge of arrangements.
