How he always saw the best in everyone. How deeply he loved his family and friends. Cory touched many lives in his short twenty-four years. He will be so dearly missed. The following is a poem that Cory had written:
Feelings
I’m so sick of emotions and aches in my soul
I do my best to let’em rest or just let them go
I must confess that this world is a mess
Won’t somebody find the antidote
Got an isolated heart and a brain that won’t start
Oh no, it just won’t start
Paranoid eye’s glance from far away
And from the east to west
People act as if they ain’t who they say
Yes it’s sad and yes it’s blue.
But everybody knows, its all very true.
So earth please keep your candle lit
Now I’ll open my eyes and rethink things for just a little bit.
