Charles Wesley “Cowboy” Colboth, 49, of Harrisburg, passed away on September 3, 2016, 12:30 p.m., at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born on August 15, 1967 in Harrisburg, Ill. He married Diana Marie Bates on June 19, 1991, who preceded him in death on March 13, 2016. Cowboy was a truck driver for Stan Harrawood Trucking. Survived by his daughter, Brinna Lee Colboth of Harrisburg; his father, David E. Colboth of Creal Springs; raised in the home of Ann and the late Everett Evans of Vienna; two brothers, Michael and Lora Colboth, Steve and Amy Colboth; three half sisters, Helen Snoddy of Austin, Tex., Tammy and Virgil Berrong of Shelbyville, Ky., Tillie and Bryan Hebbler of Crab Orchard; two half brothers, Andy Vezeau of Omaha, Neb, David and Melissa Brown of Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Colboth and one son, Jordon Colboth. Visitation for Cowboy will be on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Rev. Mark Smith will be conducting the service. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
