Charles Thomas Pinkston, 54, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, 11:38 a.m., at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Charles was born on the November 7, 1962 in Eldorado, Ill., the son of Thomas Ezra and Josephine (Smith) Pinkston. He was a truck driver for Klemm Trucking of Green Bay, Wis. Charles attended the Ohio Valley General Baptist Church in Shawneetown. He is survived by his son, Charles Lee Pinkston of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two sisters, Marilyn and Ray Nally of Morganfield, Ky., Pam Bryant of Junction, Ill.; one brother, Tom and Gena Pinkston, also of Junction. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shelia Pinkston and Debra Moore. Visitation for Charles will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 12 p.m. noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. The Rev. Michael Rushing will officiate with burial at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
