Bryan Albert Head

Bryan Albert Head, 38, of Shawneetown, IL died Friday March 6, 2026 at 7:02 PM near Old Shawneetown, IL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 10, 2026 at 7 pm at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 5 pm until service time.  Reverend Thad Galloway will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Bryan was born on March 22, 1987 in Evansville, IN to William David and Elizabeth Ann (Sutton) Head.

Bryan was employed at Green Plains Alcohol Plant in Mt. Vernon. IN. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting. But his greatest love was working on his old truck he affectionately called Bertha.

He was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Shawneetown. 

Bryan is survived by his Parents: David and Beth Head of Shawneetown, IL; Companion: Nichole Papineau of Shawneetown, IL; Sister: Sarah (Travis) Boots of Marion, IL; Grandfather: Billy Head of Shawneetown, IL; Nieces: Corrie and Zoe Boots of Marion, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother: Betty Irene Head and Maternal Grandparents: Lavern and Marvelle Sutton.
