Bonnie Sue Sisk, 83, of Junction, Illinois, longtime of resident of Gallatin County, passed away on Monday afternoon on April 14th, 2025 at the Saline Care Nursing and Rehab in Harrisburg. She was born in the New Haven bottoms on July 20, 1941, the daughter of the late Elmer Sanford and Reba Mae (Givens) Browning. Bonnie married James A. "Jimmy Jack" Sisk at the Equality Presbyterian Church on December 4th, 1965. Sadly, Jimmy Jack preceded Bonnie in death on March 2nd, 2018. After fifty years of service, she retired as a patient financial advisor at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Jimmy Jack and Bonnie loved trading and selling antiques. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Susan Sisk and her son, Jamie Sisk both of Junction; her sister, Shirley Bates of Lawrenceville; her brother, James Browning of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Zaine Sisk, Zerik Sisk, Calen Kanady, and Addalyn Sisk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Dorothy Ewan, Shelby Busler, and Patsy J. Drone. Visitation for Bonnie will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. Pastor Curt Morris will officiate the service with burial to follow at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
