Beth Lagene Emmerson

Beth Lagene Emmerson, 75, of Evansville, IN, originally from New Haven, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Beth was born in New Haven, IL on February 13, 1951, the daughter of Eldred and Thedola "Jack" (Gann) Emmerson. She worked and retired after over 40 years as a medical transcriptionist from both Welborn and Deaconess Hospitals in Evansville, IN.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine Emmerson; a sister-in-law, Sondra Emmerson; one niece, Gidget (Andy) Wagner; one nephew, Rodney (Brandi) Emmerson; one great niece Kaylee Wagner; and two great nephews, Zach Wagner and Matthew Emmerson. Beth also leaves behind two special friends, Kitsy and Johnny. Beth was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Emmerson.

Visitation will be open to friends and family on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 11:00-1:00, at Vickery Funeral Chapel, Ridgway, IL. Services will be held at 1:00, followed by the burial at Union Ridge Cemetery. Mike Buckman will be officiating.
