Andy James Baker Jr. Iii

Andy James Baker Jr. III, 59, of McLeansboro, Ill., formerly of Equality, passed away July 26, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.  Andy was born February 7, 1957 in Harlan County, Ky.  Andy was the son of the late Susie and Andy Baker Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Pamela A. “Pam” (Dye) Baker; one son, A.J. Baker IV of Greenville, Ky.; one daughter, Hollie Harrelson of Boise, Idaho; two step daughters, Michelle Page of McLeansboro, Gina Miller and fiancé Nick Nalley also of McLeansboro; four sisters, Joanne and Dennis Scherrer of Shawneetown, Andra Sue and Jim Rector of Carrier Mills, Mary and Harold Henderson, of Conway, Ark., Carletta and Mickey Hanks of Marion; two brothers, John and Shelly Baker of Morrilton, Ark., Chester Baker of Equality; three grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great grandson.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and mother and father-in-law.  Andy retired from Peabody Coal and was an Army Veteran.  As per request he will be cremated with a private family service.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Equality in charge of arrangements.
