Alfred A. Fuchs

Alfred A. Fuchs, 93, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016, 3:10 p.m., at the Village at Morrison Cove in Martinsburg, Penn.  He was born on January 6, 1923 in Altoona, Penn., the son of Edward and Maria (Maier) Fuchs.  Alfred married Helen Stacey on May 12, 1970.  He was a retired electrician and a World War II Army veteran.  Also he was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Eldorado.  Alfred his survived by his wife, Helen Fuchs of Harrisburg; two sons, David and Jayetta Fuchs of Duncansville, Penn, Kenneth and Roxanne Fuchs, also of Duncansville; one sister, Freda Montgomery of Duncansville, Penn.; and several grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Nancy Whitman; two sisters, Marion Trexler and Elizabeth Conrad; three brothers, Edward, Charles, and Frank Fuchs.  There will be no services.  Vickery Funeral Chapel of Shawneetown in charge of local arrangements.
