Bobby Gene “Bob” Brazier, 82, of Shawneetown, Ill., passed away at his home on Monday, February 4, 2019.  He was born on September 29, 1936, son of the late Nathaniel and Ethel (Young) Brazier.  He was a coal miner for twenty-four years.  Bob is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and his friends.  Also he was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronald Gene and Gary Ray Brazier; four sisters, Mae Dutton, Millie Dortch, Joann Curry, Claire Milligan; six brothers, Raymond, Adam, Loren, Tom, John Allen and Harry Brazier.  Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, February 6th from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  Pastor Jack Hall will officiate the service with burial at Westwood Cemetery.

I'll never forget Uncle Bob running Candice and I out of the Silver Fox when we were kids. We just wanted to say hi and hang out that day. He made sure mom knew before we got home.
You will be missed. I love you Uncle Bob.

Rest In Peace Uncle Bob , you were not my Uncle , lol but my brother in laws and nephews so “Uncle Bob” grew on me as well ..many find memories..decorating your tree etc .. funny times .. you had a wonderful personality and will be missed by many ... fly high ! Prayers for John , Jacquelyn and Kyle ,Chelsea Dortch .

we are so sorry to hear about bob,we have been out of town, was in tenn. when we heard about this. i know dan will miss him. god bless everyone,
