Roberta Mae Bruner, 80, resident of Shawneetown passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Roberta was born June 21, 1937 in Old Shawneetown to the late John and Mary Pauline (Smith) Back.  She married Bill Rushing and after his death she married Ed Bruner. Roberta is survived by her daughter Bertifae Glascock of Shawneetown, a grandson; Daniel (Lynlee) Phelps of Eldorado, great granddaughter; Ryleigh Phelps of Eldorado, a brother; John Back of KY, a sister; Peggy Hill of Shawneetown and her faithful canine companion Katie. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by a five siblings; Rodie Barton, Geraldine Lockrem, Delilia Vaughn, Faye Nation and Barbara Sue Back. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.  Visitation will be Thursday, 11:00 am to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery.
