Vickie Ann Bergman, 43, of Herod, Ill., passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, 1:45 p.m., at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind. She was born on September 1, 1968 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Paul and Joyce Ann (Palmer) Lewey Jr. Vickie is survived by her father, Paul and Patricia Lewey, Jr of Santa Teresa, N.M.; two daughters, Heather Bergman of Marion, Amber Bergman of Herod; two brothers, Paul and Cindy Lewey III of Phoenix, Az., Robert Lewey of Herod; one sister, LaDonna Palmer of Mt. Vernon; two grandmothers, Donna Palmer of Herod, Mary Ann Landreth of Bunker Hill; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ann Palmer; and grandfather Otis Palmer. Visitation for Vickie will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. There will be a graveside funeral service on Thursday, May 3, 2012, 10 a.m., at Colbert Cemetery near Herod and those attending should go directly to cemetery.
